Jonathan Magers - Piano Jonathan has been playing the piano since the age of 4.His desire is to create an atmosphere of excitement and emotion through unique musical expression.His passion is to encourage people in their Christian walk and to draw new people to the Kingdom of God with his music.Jonathan is married to Julie and they have two children.
Darren Stowers - 7 String Bass Darren has been playing music since he was 12 years old, traveling with different venues around the world. He has been married to Beverley since 1986 and has two children. He has a heart to use his gifting to draw people closer to the Lord and has been a member of Rightside since 2006, and is very happy to be involved in a group so dedicated to serving others. In his off hours away from his "day job" he enjoys football, gathering with friends, camping, and spending time with family.
Don Thompson - Keyboards - Vocals Don is our Baritone singer and plays the Yamaha keyboard synthesizer. He has played a wide varity of musical instruments for over 40 years. Formally, a truck driver to pay the bills, his first love was music, especially listening to Southern Gospel in his youth. Don has 5 grown children, 4 granddaughters and with his wife Lelanie, blended 3 more step children from 8 to a total of 13.

Mark Rice - Vocals Mark grew up in a large family of eight in the mid-west I quickly realized the importance of love, care and respect for on another.Our family was huge on sports. My twin brother and I played on many different sports teams while growing up and both of us served in the U.S. Navy together. I have always had a determined love for animals and people. I love to visit nursing homes with some of my animals which always seem to bring joy to their hearts. Growing up I also had a love for music and singing. I hoped and prayed that someday I would be able to use my singing talent for God.
John Watts - Drums John has been playing drums since the age of 11.He was very active in Drum Corps through high school, then discovered the Rock music scene in college, hanging out with such acts as Kansas, Styx, and REO Speed Wagon. Since becoming a Christian in 1994, John has been active in the Christian music scene, joining Gospel Review at its inception in 1998.John is married to his lovely bride, Marilyn, and has 3 daughters:Jenna (married to Marcus Hillman, also a drummer), Cassie (married to Matt McDermott, who is a musician studying sound engineering), and Vickie, who is also a working musician / college student whom God has blessed with the gift of music.John is a photographic digital imaging consultant in his “day job”, and enjoys photography, hiking, exploring the outdoors and watching football.
Jim Burnett - Sound Engineer - Manager Jim is the founder and organizer of Gospel Review Ministries a non-profit organization which Rightside, Linda Lee Burnett Ministries and Spirit Sound Productions are a part of. Jim owns his own construction company which specializes in new and remodeling of commercial, government, school, and private projects. He has been involved in technical support for over 30 years working with churches and other gospel groups helping them with their sound requirements. Jim does most of the sound engineering for the group and also for his wife Linda's solo ministry. Jim and Linda have 4 grown children, 3 of which are married along with 3 grandsons, 2 granddaughters and a dog and 2 cats. Jim also does a lot of the programming and promoting for the group and Linda's ministry. You can always find him hiding out back of an event at the sound board doing the mix.
Tom Smerk - Guitar Tom joined the Musician’s Union in 1965 and has been an active performer ever since. Receiving a music education degree from MountAloysiusCollege, a faith-based school, Tom is currently teaching for the San Diego Community College District and also teaches at GrossmontCollege. Tom and his wife, Peggy, have three grown children and five grandchildren. Active in Christian ministry work since 2003, Tom finds playing contemporary Southern Gospel music the most rewarding of all musical experiences, especially if it reinforces the love of God in the people who listen to the music. Hobbies include Bible study, travel, and outdoor recreation such as bluegrass festivals and classic car shows!
Dianne Benoit – Media/Photographer Dianne resides in East County San Diego and happily lives with her rescue dog, Dandy. She attends East Valley Christian Fellowship where she has joined the Media, Photography, Funeral and Women’s Ministries. She also attends a Women’s Bible Study at PathwaysCommunityChurch in Santee. Although Dianne is a legal secretary by trade, she has been involved in the Art of Photography for over 20+ years and specializes in capturing memories and historic events.
Dave Elliott - Vocals Dave began singing in high school in as many different formats as possible including song and dance groups, choirs, madrigals and competing in Solo/Ensemble competitions.He continued singing at University of Wisconsin-Madison and also took music theory classes there.Dave relocated to San Diego while serving 24 years in the Navy and came to the Lord 15 years ago at a small church in Santee.He has sung on worship teams, church choirs and expanded his singing style to include the acapella style of barbershop.
