Rightside was formally known as Gospel Review Vocal Band or Gospel Review over the last 10 years. We felt with all of the changes in band members and singers over the years it was time for a fresh new name and look. Our style of music and our audiences have also changed a bit over the years. Our music still has that country gospel rock feel to it with Southern Gospel roots. Our audiences range from young to I guess you would say mature adults. Originally Jim Burnett, our general manager and producer, formed the group in 1998 after a church in need of some special music and a guest speaker approached him. Jim pulled together a few musicians, singers and a guest speaker, did a few evenings of practice and off we went to the church in need. We ended up doing the whole service and had a great time. As some of us talked it over and prayed about it we decided to start a group and travel around to local churches and venues in need. Over the years we have gone from doing 5 or 6 concerts a year to presently around 25 to 30 a year. Over the years God has also blessed us with different musicians and vocals. The only remaining original members are John on drums and Linda on vocals along with Jim on the technical end of things and managing the group. After over 10 years we all felt it was time for a change and a new look. Gospel Review Ministries, Inc. is still our non-profit corporation for ministry purposes and still will have the website www.gospelreview.org that will have information about what we do as an organization. It will also direct you to the websites of Rightside and Linda Lee Music Ministries. We are a quartet style of group with a little different vocal presentation with one female and three male singers. Linda generally takes the lead vocal parts with Mark and Dave carrying the tenor parts and Don the baritone parts. We have also added Tom who plays the guitar. With the new songs we have added and the old ones revamped a bit, Rightside definitely has a new unique sound. So if you have enjoyed us in the past make sure you come on out and check out the new us.
